Where are you from and where do you live now?

I'm from a small village just outside London, England. These days I'm stoked to call Teton Village WY my home, after a skiing journey through Europe, New Zealand and Canada over a couple decades.

      Your favorite mountains?

Jackson Hole, Palisades Tahoe, Revelstoke, Tignes Le Lac, Whitewater, Snowbird, Kicking Horse... Anywhere steep and powdery!

      Your home ski area?

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, the best big-mountain Freeride playground in the USA and home of the mighty JHEvolution Team!

What was your first experience with skis?

Sliding ten yards on plastic (artificial slope) at Mt Bracknell in England aged 14. Fell in love immediately.

      What are your favorite sports/hobby/activities?

Being Head Coach of Jackson Hole Evolution is my dream job. Aside from that, supporting Wycombe Wanderers FC, studying leadership and sociology, and listening to all kinds of loud and aggressive music

      Why Majesty?

Cos I enjoyed the Vandals and Havoc Ti so much when I tested them last year that I didn't want to take them off! So playful and fun to ski.

How long have you been with Majesty?

2022/23 is my first season with Majesty and hopefully the first of many.

Any cool accomplishments with Majesty so far?

Does taking the biggest slam / tomahawk off a rock jump I've managed in about 4yrs count? It hurt enough that it should...Haha

What are your future plans with Majesty?

I'd like to help put Havoc Ti and Vadera in lots of freeride podium pictures and help to grow Majesty's profile with IFSA youth and FWQ athletes, as the skis are superb for big-mountain competition.

Where are you from and where do you live now?

I’m from Halifax/Sackville, Nova Scotia, but I’m currently living in the Canadian Rockies.

      Your favorite mountains?

The Canadian Rockies and the Bugaboos in British Columbia.

      Your home ski area?

Mostly backcountry skiing in the Canadian Rockies. If I head to a resort, it is typically Lake Louise.

What was your first experience with skis?

I didn’t have the opportunity to ski when I was younger. It was expensive and wasn’t an option, so now I am trying to make up for it. My first turn was a memorable one when I was 31 years old. In 2006 we planned a ski mountaineering trip to climb Mt Logan 5959m, Canada’s highest peak, and I figured I should try to learn to ski first. My first turn was between crevasses on the Athabasca Glacier headwall at the Columbia Icefields with an expedition-size pack. Fun times!

      What are your favorite sports/hobby/activities?

Backcountry Skiing, Climbing, Trail Running, Mountain Biking, and enjoying the company of doggos.

      Why Majesty?

I predominantly backcountry ski, the touring lineup for Majesty is great, and the fact that Majesty also has kickass bindings and skins is a great fit.

How long have you been with Majesty?

2022-23 is my third season on Majesty skis.

Any cool accomplishments with Majesty so far?

Last season I got to ski some fun lines like Mt Diadem in the Canadian Rockies and the Chockstone Couloir. Before that, dug a close friend out during a successful companion avalanche rescue from 4m.

What are your future plans with Majesty?

Hopefully to ski more and continue to improve my abilities on and off-piste. I’d love to land a 360 this season.

Where are you from and where do you live now?

I am originally from Quebec city and I moved out west 13 years ago. I now live in Revelstoke British-Colombia.

      Your favorite mountains?

I have a big soft spot for the Selkirk mountains, because they are so majestic, but I also really enjoy skiing in the Monashees because the terrain is so playful.

      Your home ski area?

I grew up skiing the ice of Mount Ste-Anne and Le Massif just outside of Quebec city.

What was your first experience with skis?

My parents put me on skis when I was 3 years old, and we would always try to go on ski trips every winter.

      What are your favorite sports/hobby/activities?

If I’m not skiing, you can find me riding my bike in the summer or in the ocean somewhere, attempting to surf…still a work in progress.

      Why Majesty?

When you spend 100+ days on ski, the idea of a really light ski that can handle just about anything sounds really appealing.

How long have you been with Majesty?

2022/23 is my 1st season. Super stoked!

Any cool accomplishments with Majesty so far?

Not yet, but I can’t wait to make Majesty skis my go to quiver for all the adventures to come this winter.

What are your future plans with Majesty?

I am planning on helping more women get into the backcountry by giving them the knowledge they need to push their limits, trust their abilities, and also spread the word about Majesty

Where are you from and where do you live now?

I’m originally a nordic skier from Minnesota but moved to Squamish British Columbia about 15 years ago and haven’t looked back since. When I arrived here, I realized that there was no need to stay on the hamster wheel of groomed XC ski trails and so began my foray into ski touring and ski mountaineering!

      Your favorite mountains?

Hard to beat the Coast Mountains. They’re as rugged as it gets, with glaciers and granite all within sight of the ocean. Access is hard but the reward is high as well. Of course the Alps, Tatras, and the Himalaya are amazing but my home range is hard to beat…

      Your home ski area?

I suppose technically Whistler-Blackcomb but even closer is the ski touring zone above the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish. It’s rad to be able to drive less than 10min to be putting my boots on and then skinning up to amazing ski mountaineering terrain.

What was your first experience with skis?

XC skiing as a kid with my dad. I remember him taking me out on the golf course on what was surely the coldest, windiest day of the decade. I hated it. Luckily a cool older friend of mine was into skiing and it turned out my dad was right!

      What are your favorite sports/hobby/activities?

I suppose I live a fairly one-track life. In the summer I love rock and alpine climbing and do a bit of ice climbing in the winter but mostly just as a reminder that skiing is better. I’m enjoying more and more working on my house and tinkering with renovations!

      Why Majesty?

For a long time, I tried to ski on the absolute lightest equipment I could for any given day. That’s great to be light and fast but it gets tricky sometimes when you find yourself undergunned. More recently, I’ve tried to find the equipment that skis the best and is the highest performing (albeit a bit heavier) for any given day. Fun and functional rather than fast and light so to speak. I find Majesty skis hit this balance perfectly. They’re not the lightest racing skis but they are light considering how well they perform. I want the best equipment and I’m lucky to have found it with Majesty!

How long have you been with Majesty?

2022/23 will be my second full season using Majesty skis.

Any cool accomplishments with Majesty so far?

Last year my Majesty Superwolf skis accompanied me on several first descents of ski lines around BC. They also joined me on a trip through the Himalayan mountains in Northern India. Pretty successful first season overall!

What are your future plans with Majesty?

I’ll be continuing to seek out first descents in Canada this season with a focus on my home mountains. I’m also looking forward to a spring expedition to the Waddington Range in Northern BC. We’ll see what the year brings! I’m also excited to get connected with the designers in Poland and would love to get to visit the team and do some more skiing in the Tatra Mountains!
