I've been on the Vanguard 118 since the beginning. Two years ago I talked to the Majesty guys at a Blister event and mentioned how a Vanguard 108 would be a great addition to their lineup. Everything I love about the 118 in a daily driver width; medium stiff flex, lots of pop, super light, release-able tail. Keep up the good work Majesty.
Burly and beautiful. These skis can go anywhere on the mountain.
Great looking skis and bindings. Now it just needs to snow here in CO so I can use them!
These skis absolutely rip!
Please keep making them for the next 70 years so I can ski them till I die.
They’re stupid light and maneuverable but also way more damp and bombproof than any other touring skis I’ve tried. Somehow they feel perfectly snappy and responsive at the same time it’s honestly ridiculous.
I mounted these tele and the multi-radius gives the most ridiculous edge contact. They carve up corduroy like it’s their full time job and then hit the bumps like 2 wild stallions. Charge great through powder too. Would use these resort or backcountry without a doubt.
IF IT AIN’T BROKE DON’T FIX IT
The feel and top sheet of these skis are perfect. If you have to make improvements, the top sheet durability is the only thing to focus on (not bad but could always be better).
Keep it up Majesty!!
I use these for springtime volcano missions in the US in Washington, Oregon, and California with an ATK Crest binding. I love them. I’ve used Salomon MTN88s and Volkl VTA88s (not the lite version) for similar activities. All three skis have very similar specs, but these Majesty skis just…sing. They’re more fun, feel more stable, and they’re wayyyy more versatile than those other skis. I encounter all kinds of weird snow searching for corn, and they soak it up without feeling too pingy or jittery. The edge hold is confidence inspiring when I’m on top of something steep. And if I use them for resort uphill and ski a little pow, they’re actually kind of floaty and really fun. I think it has something to do with the combo of flex, radius, construction, and rocker profile (floaty tips and a good amount of camber). I’m never, ever sad I’m on them, and I’m often delighted. I bought them because I’d heard positive things about Majesty, and I wasn’t totally enamored with those other skis I mentioned, which are fine and get the job done, but these are just so good. Also the graphics are cool. There are tons of options in this category/weight class, but I can’t recommend these highly enough!
