Deep Dive:
The Dirty Bear are our classic directional twin tip skis and one of the most versatile all-mountain skis in the 99mm underfoot category. It is a versatile and well-rounded twin tip featuring semi-hybrid design (tip rocker/camber). The 150mm classic curled-up front rocker tip and a balanced camber suspension enhance top performance on hard packed groomed snow without compromising the full-throttle of all-terrain skiing and fresh powder runs. You will experience the ultimate flex and stability delivered by the tip to tail poplar-ash wood core, snappy camber suspension and directional twin tip shape. The Dirty Bear is fast, easy to handle and quick to respond and is ready to help you conquer the entire mountain regardless of snow and terrain conditions. This ski is ideal for the pure enjoyment of all-around, everyday skiing from screaming down groomers, exploring back bowls, to freestyle tree runs, pillows, jumps and switch landings. While we do not recommend them for park skiing, rails and sliders due to the freeride sidewall design, the Dirty Bears have been known to occasionally butter up park slopes from Austria to Aspen, and everywhere in between. Simply put, we guarantee that our Bears have never heard of winter hibernation and they are ready to growl even louder this season.
PARK SKIING - WARRANTY DISCLAIMER:
Park and terrain obstacle skiing where the skis make contact with hard surfaces other than snow, will damage your skis eventually. How quickly the skis get damaged depends on many factors including the force of impact, speed, contact angle against park structures but also the weight, strength and skill of the skier to just name a few. When skis impact with force against rocks or other hard surfaces such as park structures, it is pure physics and materials science - the solid rock or metal structure will always win and the skis will get damaged. Therefore it is our warranty policy that when you choose to ski at parks, you agree to do so at your own risk and you knowingly accept the risk that you may damage or destroy your skis at any time - even on your first run. In summary: any physical impact damage, edge cracks, binding tear out, delamination damage etc. resulting from impacting your skis against any hard surface other than snow, automatically voids the manufacturer warranty.
