The Werewolf are our classic touring adventure skis where performance and versatility are the most essential. The Werewolf skis were handmade with beautiful natural oak veneer, classic matte top sheet finish and long life poplar/ash wood core flex. The Werewolf is efficiency focused cousin of the full carbon fiber Werewolf Carbon touring skis. Both share the exact geometry but with notable differences in weight and cost. The Werewolf skis were built for the efficiency conscious ski tourers and ski-mountaineers who are uncompromising when it comes to quality, performance and versatility, but don't have the need for super light, full carbon fiber skis.
The Werewolf was constructed with early taper rocker and a hefty camber that together deliver uncompromising edge grip during traverses and for skinning up, your weight distribution will be along the entire length of the skis. This optimized stability is extremely important when attacking diverse backcountry terrain. The big 220 mm rocker guarantees very comfortable powder rides while the camber can be used very effectively in any snow conditions. The tail is slightly arched up over a short segment of the ski, which allows better release of the edge grip so you can slide down the slope in a controlled and predictable manner. The skin mounting heels enable easier and more secure skin mount. If you are looking for technical, versatile and agile backcountry touring skis that won't break your bank, the Werewolf skis were built for you.
Disclaimer: The top sheet finish of Majesty wooden line of skis is constructed of 100% natural wood veneer. The same tree can never be found twice in nature and therefore the final look and character within the top sheet pattern of each pair of wooden skis is based purely on the natural beauty of the Mother Nature supplied raw material. The wood finish of the skis you receive is guaranteed to be distinctly unique and not identical to the image presented here.
SKIS4TREES: We plant a tree for every pair of skis sold. Our Skis4Trees program is our environmental sustainability pledge meant to offset some of our carbon footprint by replenishing the natural resource that was used in ski manufacturing. When you buy a pair of skis from us, you are supporting an independent brand that is focused on responsible manufacturing.
