Maneuverable + Responsive + Ultralight + Technical
Ultralight, nimble stubby that skis everything. The new Supernova Carbon skis continue in our touring skis lineup for 20/21 season. The Supernova is our light weight backcountry-touring performer in the popular 101mm - 105mm underfoot category. Constructed with light paulownia wood core, full carbon fiber top sheet and aramid-carbon fibers that together deliver a perfect balance of high-performance, agility, enhanced maneuverability and light weight. Designed with notably shorter flat tails, this stubby inspired construction shifted the binding mounting point slightly to the rear of the skis resulting in shorter and faster turning skis than the traditional near-center stance designs. This ski design was created for advanced backcountry skiers and ski mountaineers who seek carbon touring skis that are super lightweight for skinning up while also stiff, fast, agile and very responsive with enhanced downhill performance. While the Supernova's design evolution efficiently reduced the weight and length of the skis, the overall functionality and skiability was radically enhanced with the effective contact edges extending nearly the entire length of the skis, which notably enhances the stability and performance on downhill runs.
The Supernovas were built for variable backcountry terrain and snow conditions including steep, technical runs in tight terrain where enhanced agility, predictability and quick turning characteristics are highly desired. Think ski patrol or search and rescue pros who often find themselves in unpredictable terrain and sketchy snow conditions. The stubby agile design combined with stiff core, early taper front rocker and wide 101-105 mm underfoot profile created skis that stand out as great performers from shrilling hard-pack to floating through fresh powder making even the steepest and tightest terrain more accessible.

Touring Re//Defined
Touring is about weight conscious approach, all-around performance and high-quality skiing in diverse terrain. As most ski touring experts might point out, superlight carbon skis in this weight class have not always excelled as downhill performers. At Majesty Skis we made it our priority to completely redefine this old-school perception. The Majesty Skis ultralight touring skis range is engineered for efficient uphill as well as extreme stability, agility, responsiveness and all-around downhill performance. When you first pick up our carbon touring skis you will be amazed by how extremely light they feel. When you take them out on the snow for the first time you will be impressed by their directional flex, torsional rigidity and impressive downhill performance
CARBON = FLEX + SPRING + RESPONSIVENESS
The Carbon construction is our lightest and most exclusive construction that uses the lightest biaxial carbon fiber material. Why biaxial carbon? By customizing carbon fiber orientation between 0°, 30° and 45°, we can control, optimize and add flex without compromising stiffness or responsiveness. In general terms, carbon skis offer more feel, more responsiveness and more flex than conventional fiberglass skis.
Reviews
In the last three seasons since we launched the Supernova Carbon skis, they have been recognized by several industry awards both in the E.U. and the U.S. including the Backcountry Magazine's 2019 Gear Guide Tester's Choice award.

Majesty's Skis4Trees program is our environmental sustainability pledge meant to offset a portion of the carbon footprint that is created by ski manufacturing and supply chain. It is important to us to continually improve the way we act in our natural environment and we chose to plant a tree for every pair of skis we sell.
