      Torsten Wenzler (Austria)

Where are you from and where do you live now?

Born in Germany, living in Notzingen Germany (near Stuttgart). Also living in Tschagguns, Montafon/Austria.

      Your favorite mountains?

      Montafon & Tyrol (Austria)

      Your home ski area?

      Montafon, Austria.

What was your first experience with skis?

I've been skiing since 1967 - back then I learned to ski on skis made of wood without steel edges and with rocker arm bindings.

      What are your favorite sports/hobby/activities?

Favorite sport is skiing. In the summer I really enjoy hiking and cycling in the mountains. I also like to travel to northern places such as Iceland, Greenland, Alaska, Canada and I can combine all of this with my profession as a photographer.

      Why Majesty?

After more than 50 years on hundreds of different skis, I can now allow myself to judge. For what I'm doing in the mountains in the winter - mainly ski touring and freeriding - I don't know any better skis than Majesty. I can totally vouch for them! Stability, reliability, maneuverability and above all the low weight - it all plays a decisive role for me when we are on ski tours and I have to be able to rely 100% on the equipment. That the fun during the ascent and in the descent is not neglected, it is included with Majesty Skis.

How long have you been with Majesty?

      Since 2016.

Any cool accomplishments with Majesty so far?

The many ski tours with my friends from the BERGE IM LICHT SKI TEAM in Montafon and the Tyrolean mountains, and the unforgettable ski expedition to the Caucasus!

What are your future plans with Majesty?

Many more ski tours with friends - also several days with a tent, camping in the mountains of the Montafon and all over the world. I still dream of ski touring trips to Alaska, Canada or Norway. When the covid no longer has the world in its grip, I will do everything I can to make my dreams come true.
